Unveiling UAP: Congress, Classified Briefings, and the Unknown

Written on

The Shift in Congressional Focus on UAP

There has been a growing intrigue surrounding Congress's recent decision to address unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) through legislation within the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) after years of silence. This shift suggests that significant information may have come to light.

High-resolution UAP footage

In various discussions, Lue Elizondo has shed light on the high-definition videos and sensor data analyzed by the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). These materials reportedly showcase five distinct observable characteristics of UAP. Until now, it was merely speculative that congressional committees had access to such high-resolution footage.

During an interview on April 22, 2022, with Ryan Robbins from Post Disclosure World, Elizondo was asked about the nature of the classified briefings that have spurred such legislative activity. Elizondo responded by emphasizing the compelling nature of the information Congress has been receiving, stating, “They are seeing and hearing things that are very persuasive. Their staff is also receiving high-definition videos and photographs from sensitive platforms regularly. This week alone, we have two intriguing incidents emerging from different areas of responsibility, so a wealth of information is flowing in.”

On July 17, 2021, during an interview on Fade to Black, Elizondo hinted at a 23-minute high-definition video of a UAP, suggesting it was one of many analyzed by AATIP. He noted that the object was not Tic Tac-shaped and possibly involved multiple craft, collected by official US sensors. Although he expressed concerns about potential leaks of such footage, he acknowledged that it was not widespread knowledge.

The object was reported to have exhibited extraordinary speeds and unusual maneuvers that would be incomprehensible to human pilots. Elizondo also mentioned a triangular-shaped UAP video purportedly surfacing from the ocean, which has been circulated among military intelligence and Department of Defense officials. Should these videos exist and Congress has indeed reviewed them, it would undoubtedly have a lasting impact and may have influenced the wording of the NDAA legislation.

What Do the Videos Reveal?

Insights into UAP characteristics

The History Channel's article titled “These 5 UFO Traits, Captured on Video by Navy Fighters, Defy Explanation” highlights five observable traits of UAP, which are summarized here:

  1. Anti-gravity Lift: These objects have been seen defying Earth's gravity without any visible propulsion system or flight surfaces. While the Nimitz incident featured crafts resembling Tic Tac candies, numerous shapes have been documented in public sightings.
  2. Sudden Acceleration: The speed at which these objects can change direction is so rapid that it would be lethal for any human pilot.
  3. Hypersonic Velocities: Many reports describe UAP traveling faster than sound without leaving any visible trace, such as vapor trails.
  4. Low Observability: Witnesses often struggle to get a clear view of these objects, typically only perceiving a faint glow or haze.
  5. Trans-medium Travel: Some UAP have been observed moving seamlessly between different environments, including air and water.

With Congress now motivated to understand these phenomena, as evidenced by the urgency in their NDAA discussions, the implications for national security are profound.

What Does the President Know?

National Security Council Briefings

Dr. Robert (Bob) McGwier, an adjunct professor and expert in applied mathematics, recounted in April 2021 that he had heard from attendees of a National Security Council briefing. They described the session as featuring “40 minutes of science fiction movies,” which included a full classified report and 14 videos. The information shared at this level indicates that congressional committees and the White House have been exposed to crucial intelligence regarding UAP.

The UAP Task Force's preliminary assessment confirmed that these phenomena pose a national security risk, necessitating the attention of the National Security Council. This council serves as the President's primary advisory body on national security and foreign policy, and it has been briefed on the existence of high-definition videos and sensitive intelligence related to UAP.

Given the composition of the National Security Council, which includes virtually every presidential appointee involved in security matters, the weight of the information being discussed is immense. The United States government may hold the key to one of history's greatest mysteries while remaining tight-lipped with the public.

Additional Insights and Resources

Dr. Robert McGwier, Lue Elizondo, and Ralph Blumenthal have provided further information on the alleged 23-minute UAP video and the claims of a triangular UAP surfacing from the ocean. Elizondo also commented on a New York Times article discussing a Pentagon briefing that highlighted retrievals of “off-world vehicles” not made on Earth.

UAP Research Publications

The Madrid Papers, edited by Bryce Zabel, co-host of the UAP/UFO podcast “Need to Know with Coulthart and Zabel,” delve deeper into these topics, providing further context and analysis for those interested in the ongoing discussions surrounding UAP.
