Embracing the Carnivore Diet Again: A Journey Back to Health

Chapter 1: A Fresh Start on the Carnivore Diet
I'm resetting my approach and returning to the carnivore diet, with a commitment to stick with it this time—mostly.
Reflecting on my past experience, I remember how I managed to lose over 20 kilograms by simply indulging in fatty red meat. It was a remarkable journey; I maintained this for 11 months without any exercise, dropping from around 90 kg to an impressive 67 kg.
However, I eventually faltered. As my clothes began to fit better, my self-discipline started to slip. I indulged in various foods, believing I had everything under control. Unfortunately, I did not. Even though I adhered to one meal a day (OMAD), the introduction of foods outside my strict carnivore regimen led to unwanted weight gain.
Isn't it fascinating how profoundly food can be addictive?
My taste buds seem to operate independently. Despite the joy of my weight loss, my improved appearance, and enhanced athleticism, I found myself slipping back into old habits after a few tempting but not-so-healthy food choices. It was a swift return to my previous struggles.
The end of cravings is a myth; they merely lie dormant, waiting for a chance to resurface.
To be clear, I've kept active with calisthenics and cycling to work. Yet, my experience underscores a crucial truth: you can't outrun a poor diet. Exercise is just the cherry on top; the real foundation is what you consume.
This summer, I’m determined to look my best. My strategy? Fully commit to a strict carnivore diet, eliminating everything except the fatty red meat that previously transformed my health.
Day one is complete, and I'm feeling energized. But let’s be realistic; this won't be a walk in the park. After all, achieving anything worthwhile requires effort. Stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks to see if my renewed dedication to a meat-only menu will help me achieve my summer body aspirations.
In this video, I share my experience of slipping up on the carnivore diet and my plans to get back on track.
Here, I discuss my carnivore diet challenges and how I'm working to stay focused and motivated.
