During my time as a caregiver for my grandmother, I gained valuable insights into the significance of self-care. It plays a vital role in maintaining our mental health.
Fulfilling our own needs is not just beneficial; it’s necessary. I discovered that cherishing small moments of joy reinforced my commitment to self-care.
I had often neglected my own well-being, believing that my focus should be on helping others. However, I learned that sacrificing my mental health for the sake of others is unsustainable.
